Welcome to our Autumn Newsletter from Brothers!
As the cooler mornings of autumn begin, we are reminded that change can be a powerful catalyst for growth and renewal. This season, we celebrate our community’s growth, transformation, and the strength and excitement that comes from embracing new beginnings.
The first few months of 2025 have been incredibly busy and super amazing here at Brothers, there is just so much for us to celebrate and be utterly grateful for. Everyday we are stepping closer towards our vision to be a nationwide community of brothers transforming the way disability support is delivered to young men. Our brothers are true professionals who provide a service that changes the lives of those we care for. Everyday we are learning more, growing more, and changing lives for the better!
Please know your continued support, encouragement and commitment inspires us to keep going in creating a network of Brothers who are changing the way disability support is delivered and who live our values of passion, humility, mateship and growth mindset everyday.

Brothers Adventures
We officially launched Brothers Adventures in February 2025 and had our first adventure to Stradbroke Island. Brothers Adventure Days, Weekends, and Camps are all about making great memories, trying new activities, and making lasting friendships. Whether you’re into exploring, swimming, fishing, or just enjoying good company, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

New Head Quarters
March will see us moving into bigger and better headquarters! We will remain in Albion but are moving into a cool new space that will house our ever growing team and our Brothers training programs.

Fun Run
This year we will be supporting the AEIOU Foundation’s Fun Run to Celebrate Autism Awareness Month, and we would love to see as many families as possible join us for this fantastic event!Here are the details:

Key Dates of the Month
World Down Syndrome Day 21st March
Take part in the Lots of socks campaign with us.
On 21 March, choose some socks that are going to get noticed!
They might be mismatched socks or your boldest and most colourful socks, whatever takes your fancy. The idea is to start a conversation, so when people ask you about your socks, you can tell them, “I’m wearing them to Raise Awareness of Down Syndrome”.
Then, you can tell them everything you want them to know about Down Syndrome.
World Autism Awareness 2nd April
On 2 April, join us in raising awareness for World Autism Awareness Day.
Start a conversation to spread understanding and acceptance. When someone asks about World Autism Awareness Day, take the opportunity to say, “It’s about Raising Awareness of Autism.”
Then, you can share everything you want them to know about Autism.
Let’s get people talking and make a difference together!

Join our exclusive Mothers of Brothers Facebook group and connect with other amazing mums just like you!

MICHAEL BOND
Congratulations to Michael Bond, February’s Brother of the Month!
Michael consistently demonstrates an exceptional work ethic, reliability, and a strong dedication to helping others.
His passion for sport, health, and fitness shines through in his support work, and he is driven by the success of his participants.

Meet Our New Team Members
We welcome Jack D, Sam, Tom, Faa, Patrick C, Marley, Max W, Nick P, Kobi, Chris and Karl to the Brothers team.
This new intake of Brothers is seriously epic. We are talking medical students, footie guys, ex-forces, a youth group leader, and even a Latin dance teacher! as well as experienced support workers. We are so pumped to have each of these amazing guys join our team and the Brothers family.
