Empowering men with disabilities to live with confidence, purpose, and connection.

At Brothers Support Network, our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes are more than just a place to live, they're a place to belong.

Designed specifically for men with disabilities, our SIL accommodations offer a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where independence is nurtured and mateship is real.

What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is an NDIS funded service for people who need help with daily tasks while living in shared or individual accommodation.

This includes support with:

  • Developing healthy daily routines

  • Meal planning and cooking

  • Cleaning and laundry

  • Medication management

  • Building independent living skills

Our SIL model is tailored to the unique needs of males, creating a space where residents feel understood, respected, and supported, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

Who Is It For ?

Our SIL homes are ideal for men aged approximately 17–35 who are looking for:

  • More independence while still receiving daily support

  • A male only, emotionally safe environment

  • Strong, positive male role models and peer connections

  • A place to grow life skills, social confidence, and personal routine

We support participants with varying levels of need including 1:3, 1:2, and 1:1 ratios, with sleepover or active overnight support based on your NDIS plan.
